HARLEY DAVIDSON : THE ART OF REBELLION
The Robert Berman Gallery and Harley Davidson hosted a group show last Friday in Santa Monica, Ca. The theme of the show was The Art of Rebellion. A portion of the proceeds were donated to Art Matters, a foundation that assists new artists. It was crowded, the people were rude, and the pace to view the artwork was very fast. So that explains the blurry photos...sorry...

FRESH TUNES : GRUM
This young Scottish born DJ/Producer has assembled quite a few mixes circulating across the blog world, and is creating a buzz around the electro scene. Grum is heavily influenced by disco, electro, breakbeat, and dance, mixing many club tracks that often get people moving to some degree. DJ's that adjust their own style into a good mixture of different genres are having the most success these days. Appeal to a wider audience? Good marketing strategy. Good music.
Grum has recently produced an E.P. with No Love Lost Records (NLLR) mixing artists such as Chic, Yelle, Felix da Housecat, Daft Punk, and Armand van Helden. In addition to those tracks, Grum features his exclusive tracks. Check out his crazy synthesized sounds.
